Rev. Dr. Brad Estep
District Superintendent
Brad (Dawn) serves full time as district superintendent of the Arizona District Church of the Nazarene. Prior to his election as superintendent he served as Lead Pastor at Sun City Church of the Nazarene for six and a half years. Before that he pastored churches in Kansas, Florida and Virginia. He holds a BA and MA from Southern Nazarene University, an M.Div from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a Th.M and Ph.D from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia.. Brad has been married to Dawn for 36 years, and they have two grown children: Christopher and Katherine (married to Noah).
“My aim has been to preach ‘plain truth’ to people in a particular context who were eager to hear something that was meaningful and that directed their attention to the presence and ongoing work of God in their lives. In other words, I was trying to teach ‘plain truth’ to ‘plain people.”’

Matt (Joni) is serving at Turning Leaf Church part-time as their College & Administrative Pastor. Matt served as Co-NYI President, directed and spoke at youth camps, led Elev8 events, and represented SWNYI in India at the Third Wave Conference in 2019. He is a certified DCPI trainer, communication specialist and experienced with media production/technology. He and Joni have three extremely active young boys who keep them on the run!
