What is Fall Fest?

Fall Fest is our annual event designed to gather together as a District and Celebrate the opportunity to gather and play hard, pray even harder, and have a lot of fun together. As followers of Christ we Celebrate what God is doing in His People and invite as many people as possible to join us in this journey. If you like having fun and being around people who like to do the same, this event is for you!

What will be doing?

Pretty much everything! Fall Fest has all sorts of activities to encourage us to Celebrate the gifts that God has given us. Most events are geared to be played in small teams so you can pair up with friends from your local church, invite new friends to join in on the fun, or even partner up once you get to the event. The goal is to have a lot of fun and meet some new people along the way. Activities include:

Dodgeball

Ultimate Frisbee

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Coed Volleyball tournament

Field Games

E-sports

Talent (Art and Vocal/Instrument)

When is Fall Fest happening?

Come Celebrate and join the fun on October 6th-7th for a day in a half long event. We will kick off on Friday evening to worship and have a fun filled Dodgeball Tournament. Then, we will come back the next morning and have a whole day of play in a variety of tournaments. We will end the day with an Awards ceremony and opportunity to worship once more.

How much is this going to Cost:

Cost is $20 per student. What a steal!!! Sign up before October 1st to guarantee your correct shirt size. Adult's leaders/Sponsers will be $10.

What does the cost include?

For $20 you get entry into a day and a half of a insane amount of fun opportunities from team sports, Esports, to individual activities. Not only that but you’ll receive some sweet event swag which includes a T-shirt. To keep cost down, we are not including any food this year.

We are always hungry, where can we eat?

Haven is located in a prime spot by a bunch of different options for food. There is pretty much every fast food option within a few miles of the church so I would encourage you to start looking at what’s nearby. Also, there are plenty of delivery options near by as well. If you need suggestions, feel free to reach out and we’ll help accommodate your group.

What if I can’t make the Friday activities?

Can’t make Friday, that’s Ok we still want you to be there on Saturday!!! The main Fall Fest activities take place on Saturday so although you are going to miss some of the fun, you will still have a blast participating in all the activities on Saturday. Price remains the same and you will be glad you came.

What type of Talent opportunities are available?

We are opening this up to a wide array of Talent opportunities. If you sing, play an instrument, write sermons, draw, paint, do photography, create videos, dance, rap, then we want you to display your gifts. If there is something that doesn’t quite fit what’s listed above, then contact us and let us know what you want to show. We ask that to provide your own equipment to perform.

Our Church is outside the Phoenix Metropolitan area, where should we stay?

We have a host church that has offered up their facility for any church that is coming from out of town. There is plenty of space so just let us know your coming and we’ll make sure you are taken care of. There won’t be any shower facilities but plenty of bathrooms and space to separate guys and girls.

What if my Church isn’t going?

YOUR CHURCH ISN’T COMING?!?!?! No worries, you can still attend the event. Round up some of your friends and head over to the event. All we ask is to have a leader sign you up so we know you’re coming. You’ll have a blast and will probably make a few friends along the way.

What if my leader signed us up and I want to invite a friend?

No worries, invite as many friends as possible to this event! Fall Fest is designed to be great for both those who are already part of youth groups, and for friends who need to hear the message of The Good News. If you have a late addition to add to your group registration, please have your leader email Sean so he can make the change in the system. The sooner we get the info, the better we can accommodate the change.

What if my Church doesn’t have enough for a team?

No worries, this event is designed to mix it up and make some new friends from other churches. This year, we included an option on the registration form to capture students interested in playing a sport but not enough to field a full team. Just make sure your leader has registered you for the event and we will do our best to get you on a team with others who are in a similar position.

What if I show up to the event and I didn’t register

For the best experience possible, you will want to register in advance, but if you didn’t we will still take you : ) If you show up to the event and you didn’t register, you won’t be guaranteed any of the event swag since we are ordering based on registrations. However, you’ll still be able to participate in the event and you will have a great time.

How do I register?

Great question. We ask that 1 leader from each group register the whole group. We don’t need individual names, just shirt sizes, and what you are interested in signing up for. Just head over to the register now button and you can begin the process. We ask that you bring 1 check for the entire group. Please no cash if possible.
