"Heirs of the King: Knowing Your Identity”

1. How do you personally experience or understand the Holy Spirit “bearing witness” that you are a child of God

Peter says we are a “chosen race.”

  • How does knowing you are chosen by God impact the way you see yourself?

  • In what ways do you struggle to live out of your God-given identity instead of the labels the world gives?

 2. Living as a Royal Priesthood
What do you think it means to be a “royal priesthood” in your everyday life?

  • How can we live out our priestly role at work, school, or in our homes?

  • What might change if we saw ourselves as God’s representatives everywhere we go?

 3. Set Apart for Holiness
Peter calls us a “holy nation.”

  • In what areas of life do you feel pressure to conform to the world?

4. Declaring His Excellencies
We’re called to “proclaim the excellencies of Him who called us.”

  • What are some ways you can declare God’s greatness — both through your words and your actions?

“A people for His own possession” speaks of value and purpose.

"Crowned with Life: Persevering through Trials”

James 1:12

    1.    What current or past trial am I facing, and how have I responded—by trusting God or trying to escape it?

Consider how your faith has been challenged or strengthened through hardship.

    2.    In what ways am I actively practicing spiritual perseverance?

Are you building endurance through prayer, Scripture, and community, or relying solely on your own strength?

    3.    Do I believe that God sees and rewards faithfulness in the midst of trials?

How does the promise of the “crown of life” shape your attitude in suffering?

    4.    Is my love for God growing stronger or weaker during difficult seasons?

What does your current trial reveal about your heart’s affection toward Him?

Consider qualities like love, integrity, mercy, patience, or holiness.

    3.    How does knowing you were made “just a little lower than the heavenly beings” shape the way you live and make decisions?

Does it challenge you to live with greater responsibility or reverence? 

    4.    How can you better live out your God-given purpose to represent Him in your home, workplace, or community?
